The Creation of VNAH
Sixteen years after the end of the Vietnam war, an estimated 7 million Vietnamese live with a disability, with more than 1.5 million being mobility disabled and requiring an artificial limb, wheelchair, or some other assistive device. Yet only 20% were receiving the aid that they needed. Year One was an exploratory year for VNAH. Determined and committed to assisting their brothers and sisters in need with little expertise and understanding on how to make change in a developing and recovering country, Ca Tran set out to build a team of selfless individuals in hopes of making positive change in his home land.
