Passage of Vietnam's new National Law on Disability enacted June 2011.

The new law brings unprecedented recognition and expansion of rights for people with disabilities. The law spells out rights to inclusion and equal opportunities in education, employment, healthcare, as well as access to public facilities, transportation, and other venues.

VNAH is grateful to its partners, including MOLISA, USAID, the Nippon Foundation, the Ford Foundation, and many others, who share and support the dream of equality, dignity, and hope for people with disabilities in Vietnam.
