MOLISA Hoi Thao Workshop

Hanoi - On March 24, 2017, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) organized a workshop to gather international inputs and experience on Social Work as a Profession and the development for a new Social Work Law.

Since 2001, VNAH and its technical partners such as the U.S. National Council on Disability (NCD), Harvard Law School Project on Disability (http://www.hpod.org/) and others, have been a steadfast partner with MOLISA and the Committee on Social Affairs of the National Assembly of Vietnam (CSA) in the effort to develop and enact laws and legislations with profound impact on the lives of millions of Vietnamese with disabilities.

With more than 26 years working experience in Vietnam, and since the Social Work as a Profession is new with Vietnam, VNAH is poised to provide much needed technical assistance to CSA and MOLISA's effort to develop the Social Work legislation.
