On July 20, VNAH was honored to participate in a luncheon meeting with a US Congress delegation led by Senator Tammy Duckworth at a restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City. During her official visit to Vietnam, Sen.
The luncheon was coordinated by USAID/Vietnam. Officials from the US Consulate General and USAID also participated. There were also other implementing organizations including Catholic Relief Services and Center for Disability and Development.
Senator Duckworth strongly supports the disability program in Vietnam. She took the time to ask questions and interact with several beneficiaries of the project.
